Summer Holiday Activitiesby Emma Lord, Jul 2018
Another summer holiday has come around so fast, I feel like we’ll blink and it’ll be Christmas again! A lot of our clients often talk about the summer holidays and the fun things they’ll be doing – holidays, beach visits, multiple soft play hours.. We’ve gathered a few FREE things to do this holiday that not only keep the kids entertained, but it’ll save you some pennies too!
Family Science Pop Up Event
Former TJ Hughes Building, Wrexham
July 28, 11am – 4.30pm
This is set to be a fun one, especially if you have any budding astronomers in the family! Learn all about the solar system with a tour of the stars, or watch the buskers take on their favourite science experiments!
Wrexham Town Play Day
Wrexham Town Centre (Queen Square, Guild Hall field)
August 1, 12pm – 4pm
This free event caters for all ages, from babies to grandparents! There will be a giant sandpit, rope swings, junk play and much more! We recommend taking a spare set of clothes if you want to join in the mass water fight!
Rhyl Summer Festival
August 12, 12pm – 6pm
Rhyl Events Arena
Every year this is an absolute hit, and this year it’s better than ever! If you’re an M People fan, Heather Small will be headlining alongside Showaddywaddy and many more! Suitable for all ages and a great family day out!
August 17 – 19
For the second year running, this family day out will be one to remember! You can see live cannon action as fully armed Pirate ships attack the coast of Caernarfon. There are lots of demonstrations and family friendly bits to get involved with – brilliant for any pirate lovers!
Whatever you do over these summer holidays, we hope you have the best time and make plenty of memories!
