How To Avoid The Office Illnesses

As the winter months close in and the office lurgy lingers until mid-February, we did some research into how the standard of cleaning can keep the germs at bay!

Firstly, lets talk Air Vents. More often than not, there is a daily battle in the summer about who is too hot and who is too cold. The constant air blowing from these vents mean they’re prone to collecting dust, allergens and other particles. These are then blown around the room to settle on surfaces that you come into contact with on a daily basis. Gross, right? Nothing that a simple bi-weekly polish and wipe down can’t sort!

Now then, have you ever really looked at the Door Handles that are you used daily? As the most commonly touched thing in your office, they are the main culprit of passing on illnesses. These should be wiped down on a regular weekly basis, to remove any microbes that could be lingering!

And finally, the office kitchen is the grubbiest place of them all. Imagine the dirt and grime that has build up on Countertops and Backsplashes. The best course of action for tackling these parts is a wipe down at the end of every day. This stops bacteria breeding and working its way onto cutlery and crockery that is used on a daily basis.
