Top 5 cleaning products to keep in your house!by Sarita Gill, Aug 2019
We all need cleaning products to hand for just about any situation. From a splash of milk on the kitchen table, to a mess on the carpet from careless child, general household cleaning products are essential, even if you’re not using a Well-Polished cleaner! After all, we can’t be there all the time.
So here are my top 5 pics for essential household products to keep in the cupboard.
1. Multi surface cleaner
This is a must have! More important than just about any other product below. I would never recommend the expensive brands as the cheap ones do the job just as well! After all, it’s only Soap.
2. Washing up liquid
Another staple of the kitchen is the good old washing up liquid. Plenty of brands are available for this but personally I stick to the class Fairy Liquid… It really does last longer!
3. Cleaning Sponge
That multipurpose cleaner won’t work very well without a sponge to rub the surfaces down with. In my mind, the cheaper the better! Those multi coloured bags are ideal as you can assign each colour to each task! Red = sink, Yellow = Surfaces, Green = bathroom cleaning.
You’ve got to have this in the house! How would you ever clean the toilet? It’s so versitile too. Just make sure you keep it out of reach of children. I’m very brand agnostic on this one. The cheaper the better!
5. Duster & Polish
It’s incredible how fast dust builds up in the house. It’s everywhere! From the top of the door frame to the back of the TV cabinet, dusting the house needs to be done on a regular basis. Skirting boards are the bane of my life! I don’t really see much of a difference between brands on this one. I tend to use Mr Sheen, but the cheaper alternatives seem to do just as well.
So, there you have it. The top 5 cleaning products to keep in your house. Now obviously there are plenty of other things that any house should keep. Vacuum cleaners, mops, dishwasher powder, laundry detergent. The list is never ending! The above list will cover the basics though.
