Tips to help you look after yourself in the sun

With the rain finally at bay its nice to see we can enjoy some well deserved weather and we need to make sure we make the most of it….while it lasts! 

Here’s our top tips to help you enjoy the glorious sun 

  1. Wear sunscreen

We all miss the sun and when it’s out we all want to spend as much time as possible soaking up the rays but make sure you protect your skin. Always keep this handy in your handbag or car and make sure you top up regularly, especially young kids. 

  • Drink plenty of fluids

Its imperative to stay hydrated during the summer and water should become your new best friend. Its easy to forget this during this BBQ season and most of us find ourselves drinking more refreshing beers and wines, but water is vital during the heat so always keep a handy bottle close by.

  • Think smart

We all want a slice of the sun, whether that’s to get a tan, top up on your vitamin D or to simply lay around the garden listening to music, make sure you take care of you (and of course those around you). Make sure you spend some time indoors throughout the day so you can cool your skin and re-fuel on the essential fluids.

Remember eat well and enjoy the sun.
