What to do in Northampton:

by Bex Spires, Dec 2018

Pinnacle Climbing Centre

Why not find out just how agile you really are and take a trip to the Pinnacle Climbing Centre? The walls, which reach up to 12.5 metres high, will push you to your limits while still facilitating a fun activity for the whole family!

78 Derngate

The only house in England designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1916 is now a huge tourist attraction in Northampton. The house has since been restored and now hosts a restaurant, bright art galleries, spaces which can be hired for meetings or other functions and a design shop.

Tanks-a-Lot

For history and driving enthusiasts alike, this venue hosts 100 acres of track on which you can drive multiple tanks and military vehicles on until your hearts content. If you want to alleviate some of your anger and frustrations, private car crushing’s are available! Perfect for a brilliant birthday party or a work do!

Warner Edwards Gin Distillery

For those of us who can appreciate a nice blend of juniper berries, Warner Edwards gin distillery is a great place to learn the ins and outs of how the UK’s favourite spirit is made and to taste some top tier gin. However, we’d recommend taking a taxi there!

Catanger Llamas

You’ll go bananas for these llamas! A beautiful experience to be had in the Northamptonshire countryside with some lovely animals. Take part in llama parties and trekking and remember to pop into the gift shop at the end for some “Llamarabillia”. A brilliant place to unwind with the whole family!
