The ever popular South of England show starts this Thursday 6th June running through until Saturday 8th June opening every day at 09.00 am and closing at 6.30 pm.   With the Queen of England as it’s patron, this event, hosted at the Ardingly Show features the best of British Agriculture with something to do and see for the whole family.

History of the Society

The South of England Agricultural Society is a registered charity that funds and supports agricultural education and countryside learning, founded in 1967 from a consolidation of agricultural societies going back as far as the 1830’s.  The Society works across the six counties of West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, East Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.  

What is there to see and do?

Activities include a Saxon Battle Enactment, Shetland Pony Mini Grand National, Motor Cycle Stunts, Wine Walk and many more.  Get full details here.  Don’t also forget to visit the Artisan Food Village and browse around the Rural Crafts and Independent Boutique Shopping area.   Heralded as “THE” ultimate family day out in the South, the show is this year promising the best ever programme of activities and entertainment to date.
