Local Celebrity Romesh to Share his New Content in Crawley

Comedian and funnyman Romesh Ranganathan who grew up in Broadfield in Crawley and was a former pupil at Hazelwick School will appear at The Hawth in August to share some of his new material ahead of his new tour.  

Romesh was a maths teacher and Head of the 6th Form at Hazelwick School before he found fame as a comedian, having appeared in shows such as Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, Live at the London Palladium and Taskmaster, as well as performances on Live at the Apollo.  He claims now that he gets noticed in Crawley more for being a former teacher than he does for his numerous television appearances.

Show Dates

Shows – aptly named Romesh Ranganathan:Work in Progress – will take place at The Hawth on the evenings of Monday 19th August, Tuesday 20th August and Wednesday 21st August 2019 and will feature new material by Romesh.   Ticket prices are £20 per person with maximum of 4 tickets per customer per show with the show starting at 8pm and running for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes including interval.  Due to swearing and adult content contained within the show, children must be 14 years or older.

Romesh recently published his first autobiography called Straight Outta Crawley, which has proved a hit here in his hometown Crawley, selling out swiftly.
