Have you ever wondered if you’re getting enough sleep? Or maybe even having too much?!
Thanks to Forbes.com, we can take a look at the sleep habits of highly successful people and compare their stats to our own… and we for one are surprised by the results!
According to their study, the largest percentage of people fall within the 5-6 hours bracket – completely contradicting the solid 8-hour sleep concept that is fed to us from childhood. And quite a large 14% get by on only 4-5 hours per night!
28% of people who took part in the study had a wake up time of 5am with only a small percentage (5%) waking up the more conservative time of 9am.
The sleep routine of some famous faces was included in the article and to name a few – Richard Branson, Barack Obama and Elon Musk all fell into the 6 hours per night category, whilst the likes of Ellen DeGeneres enjoys a cozy 8 hours a night!
Speaking of successful people, our very own directors Sandra and Mike each proclaim to sleep a measly 5-6 hours per night!
So perhaps the key to success is to go to bed later and get up earlier? Personally, I think I’ll stick with my 10pm-6am pattern!
