Well Polished was established on the Wirral by Sandra Venables in 2004, when she outgrew the corporate rat race and decided to fulfill her ambitions by becoming her own boss. Sandra envisaged that Well Polished would be a part-time business that she could run by herself. However, the service soon proved to be so popular that it demanded her full attention, and additional office staff.
By the end of its third year's trading, Well Polished was providing approximately 20,000 cleaning hours for clients in the Wirral area. Having proven the Well Polished concept in her local area, Sandra realised the potential for expanding the business nationally through franchising. In 2007 Sandra's husband David became the Well Polished Operations Director, and Mike Campbell was introduced as Finance Director.
Running a Well Polished franchise doesn't require you to don your rubber gloves and break out the furniture polish. Our Franchise Owners present the professional face of the business and manage the cleaning team. Our service is competitively priced and highly professional, giving all of the customer-focused advantages of a large company alongside the personal touches of a privately contracted cleaner.
